Last night was a night to remember for sure. I finally got my candlelight dinner. Twenty-eight years and two days after my wedding! My daughter spent the week-end with her brothers. We agreed to come pick her up Mon. evening. The boys said they would treat us to dinner for our anniversary-at Burger King. They took us to the parking lot of a local Burger King and parked just long to enough to say "See, we told you we were going to BK." I knew we were not going to eat there! Not that I have anything against BK! I do enjoy a good Whopper every now and again!
My boys had made dinner reservations at McCormick & Schmick's. It is a very nice seafood restaurant at Southpark Mall in Charlotte. We received first class food and service and a souvenir menu with our names and 28th wedding anniversary printed at the top. My boys had taken care of everything! I was so proud of them. It truly was a very special evening with my family. I will always treasure this very special gift from my children.
